Celebrating Fred Schaeffer

Celebrating a Legacy of Service and Advocacy

Frederick Seymour Schaeffer

(March 21st, 1938- May 5th 2026)

For many years, Fred Schaeffer was more than a friend to the Judicial Process Commission—he was a trusted ally, dedicated supporter, and champion for justice, compassion, and community.

Through his unwavering commitment, generous spirit, and steadfast friendship, Fred dedicated his time and energy to creating positive change. His passion for helping others, advocating for fairness, and supporting meaningful causes left an enduring impact on our organization and the community we serve.

Fred’s legacy is reflected not only in the work he supported, but in the countless lives he touched through his kindness, advocacy, and commitment to a more just and compassionate world.

We extend our deepest condolences to Fred’s wife, children, family, and friends who shared him with the Judicial Process Commission for more than 15 years. We are grateful for the many years they allowed us to experience his friendship, partnership, and unwavering dedication to our mission.

While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the remarkable legacy he leaves behind—the relationships he built, the causes he championed, and the difference he made. Fred’s impact will continue to inspire the JPC family and the communities we serve for years to come.

“The true measure of a life is not in what we gain, but in what we give to others.”
