Youth Peer Specialist (YPC)

JPC is looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the community who has a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate is the person who works well individually and/or as a part of a team. He/she is empathetic, ethical, goal oriented. He or she, should possess strong organizational skills and the person should be knowledgeable about community resources.

Our YPS (Youth Peer Specialist) will provide individualized support for transition-aged youth up to 24 years old who have shared experiences in youth-serving systems like Behavioral Health, Foster Care, and Juvenile Detention. This shared background fosters empathy and enhances support effectiveness.

Reentry Recovery Specialist

JPC is looking for someone to help people reintegrate into society after they have been involved in the criminal justice system. Our participants often face many challenges such as homelessness, mental health issues, addiction, and trauma. Many Recovery Specialists have lived experience with reentry or recovery. Our Recovery Specialists provide support through shared understanding, respect, and empowerment. This support is essential for helping people stay on their recovery journeys, reducing the chances of going back to old habits or reoffending.

Office Administrator

Our Office Administrator supports the Executive Director in coordinating business communication. Their essential duties include creating and maintaining recordkeeping systems and facilitating client communication. They also schedule appointments, direct phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage meeting schedules. They may also perform other administrative roles such as scheduling appointments, taking notes in meetings, booking travel when necessary, and supporting current programming needs.
